A sum of money is divided into two portions in the ratio of 5:7.If the smaller portion is $1 300,find the amoutof the sum.

形式係要咁既：
                                Let x be the amount of the sum
                                  xxxxxx=xxxxx
                                    xxxx =xxxx
                        Ans:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Let x be the amount of the sum
(5/12)x=1300
　　　 x=1300x(12/5)
          x=3120

ans:the amount of the sum is 3120

(5/12)姐係12份之5  姐係5over12
(12/5)姐係5份之12  姐係12over5
